Yum-Yum Sauce

A few years ago I visited a great Kiku restaurant in my hometown. You know the ones with the entertainment chefs and the hibachi grills. It was very entertaining and a very fulfilling meal. They give you an appetizer, soup, salad, hot tea, side dish of rice, and your main meal. It's pretty pricey but very worth it. With the fish and the vegetables they served this lovely-addicting sauce. They called it Yummy or Yum-Yum sauce.

I scoured the internet in hopes of finding the recipe and indeed I found it, even though mine doesn't taste quite the same as the one at the restaurant.

Here is my version of this great recipe:
    1-1/4 cup Hellmann's Mayonnaise
1/4 rice wine vinegar (or lemon juice if you'd wish)
1 teaspoon tomato paste (do not use ketchup!)
    1 tablespoon melted butter
    1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
    1 teaspoon sugar
    1/4 teaspoon paprika
    dash of cayenne pepper
Use a whisk to blend all ingredients thoroughly until smooth. Refrigerate over night to blend the flavors and serve at room temperature.
The Yum-Yum sauce is the one on the left of the shrimp. The other sauce is store bought cocktail sauce.
You can serve it with any sort of meat, seafood or vegetables!
